The Readiness Trials 2: Grid Down

The Trials are back! The Readiness Trials 2: Grid Down will once again test shooting skills and a bunch of other skills that may come in handy in any survival/disaster situation.

Stages include:
-Long Range Marksmanship
-Carbine Skills
-Pistol Stress Shoot
-Fire starting & water purification
-Shelter Building
-Wilderness Med
-Observation
-Comms
-Shotgun
-Land Navigation

And a few surprises!

Required Equipment:
-Rifle with sling
-60 rounds of rifle ammo
-Pistol with quality holster and belt (no serpa, nylon, or similar holsters)
-30 rounds pistol ammo
-shotgun with one box 12 gauge #8 birdshot or clay loads (shotguns will be available for use if you don’t have one)
-small tarp or GI style poncho
-compass
-protractor with 1:24,000 scale (a few extras will be available)
-Note taking materials
-20 feet paracord or other cordage
-fire starting tools (no lighters)
-quality knife
-ear and eye protection
-weather appropriate clothing and footwear
-pack to carry it all in
